Let’s talk flowers.

I thought I’d share a little about the person behind Wisteria Wreaths and Flowers and how this little business came to life.

Flowers and creativity have been a huge part of who I am for more than 35 years. I’m a fully qualified florist, having trained in floristry from leaving school, and I’ve always had a real passion for creating beautiful things with flowers.

I started my working life with my own floristry business in Bournemouth, before taking a very different path at the age of 27 and joining the police. I went on to spend 23 years as a frontline police officer—a career I’m incredibly proud of and one that gave me so many experiences, challenges and wonderful memories.

Earlier this year, due to health reasons, I retired from the police. While it was a huge change after so many years, it also gave me the opportunity to rediscover something that has always been close to my heart—my creativity and my love of flowers.

And so, Wisteria Wreaths and Flowers was born.

Wisteria has such a beautiful flower, and the wreath element reflects my passion for creating beautiful floral wreaths and tributes. From bespoke floral tributes and sympathy flowers to a simple door wreath, seasonal arrangement or wedding, I’m excited to see where this new journey takes me.

I also offer wreath-making workshops, giving people the opportunity to get creative, learn something new and make their own beautiful wreaths under my guidance.

Creativity really does run through my veins and I’m so excited to be able to return to something I love and build a business that comes from the heart.
